Day 234-Oceana 2007 California Riesling at Binnys on sale for $6

This wine was a half price at Binnys so I snatched it up without trying it previously. I would never buy this again. The wine had no fruit flavors, was not good on its own, and needed to be paired in order just to be choked down. Well maybe it did not need to be choked down, but it was far from good. The wine had no sweetness, and I honestly would not have been able to tell this was a Riesling. I think this wine might be old most Rieslings should be drank within 1 yr of bottling, but who knows, California is not known for their Rieslings and now we know why.
