Day 223-Twin Fin 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon for $5.00 at Jewel/Osco

This wine was half price at Jewel/Osco, as were all the varietals for Twin Fin. I could not resist so even though I am not a huge fan of Cab I bought the bottle. And for $5 bucks, this wine is a good deal. This wine tastes of deep plum, dark cherry, and dark chocolate. I found this wine to pair well with food and to be ok on its own, which I generally don't find with Cabs. My better half thought this wine is ok and he generally hates dry wines. He thought the deal for $5 was unbeatable also and had no trouble having a glass or two. At this price, I should stock up, and I may if there is any left at Jewel/Osco next week.
